Starting Wednesday, October 23rd, the Heroes Placement illustration contest begins!
This contest is about card games similar to Lycee and Touhou Ginfuritsu, created by the card game brand, Silver Blitz.
Entries may be used in Heroes Placement, a new trading card game, which will go on sale in 2014.
In Heroes Placement, battle girls represent the prefectures of Japan. We’re looking for more illustrations of battle girl characters based on Japanese local areas for this card game.
【Contest Period】
Wednesday, October 23rd 2013 to Monday, November 18 2013 23:59 Japan Standard Time
【How to Enter】
(1) Create a girl battle character based on a locality with the place’s motifs and related items. She can be cool or cute, or both.
Please illustrate at least one local item with the character including weapons, accessories, clothing, etc.
If your character has any names, special moves, or other unique characteristics, please write about it in the description.
(2) Upload your illustration to pixiv with the below contest tag attached.
Contest Tag: ヒロプレキャラコンテスト2013
【Submission Format】
There are no size restrictions to your entry, however winning entries must submit a 3500 by 2500 pixel, 350 DPI PSD file.
You may enter more than once as long as entries are not duplicates.
【Prizes】
○Grand Prize Winner
Awarded 100,000 yen (About $1000 USD)
・10kg of rice
・Your illustration used as a card in the 2014 game, Heroes Placement
・Your card as 50 real cards
・Your character, voiced by a voice actress

Heroes Placement is a card game collaborated Silver Blitz, known for the Lycee and Touhou Ginfuritsu card games, and pixiv.
The setting of the game is based in Japan, with battle girls representing the different cities, prefectures, and places of Japan. Each girl brings with them the spirit and pride of their homes, creating a trading card game with a dynamic battle system.
pixiv’s motto for this card game is “Made by everyone, playable by everyone.”
