On August 10th, 2023, pixiv released the pixiv Novels Character Count Checker on the desktop and mobile versions of pixiv. This feature allows you to look back at how many characters (words) you've written and read on pixiv novels over the years. This feature is available for a limited time only.
■ Time period
Thursday, August 10th, 2023 to Friday, September 29th, 3:59 pm JST
This feature displays the cumulative total number of characters you've posted on pixiv Novels since you started using our service, and also the number of characters you've read on pixiv Novels over the past three years.
You can share your results on social media. If you would like to share your results as an image, we recommend taking a screenshot that you can attach to emails and such!

・Your results will only be displayed on your own page, and no one else will be able to view them unless you share them.
・The results will be displayed in Japanese.
・The results are calculated based on data up through July 29th, 2023.
・The total number of characters you've written will only be displayed if you have posted works on pixiv Novels before July 29th, 2023.
・The total number of characters you've read (over the past year/two years/three years) will only be displayed if you have never posted any works on pixiv Novels before July 29th, 2023.
・The total number of characters you've read (over the past year/two years/three years) is calculated by counting the cumulative total character you've read between July 29th, 2023 and July 30th of the relevant year. For example, the number of characters you've read over the past three years is calculated based on the data from July 30th, 2020 through July 29th, 2023.
・If there is little data available, an error message may appear that says, "We were unable to calculate your character count."
