From August 21st, 2023, you will be able to use two-factor authentication on your login page.
Two-factor authentication is a method for increasing the security of your account. When you enable two-factor authentication, you will be required to confirm your login information via two separate methods, which protects your account from unauthorized access by third parties.
■ How to set two-factor authentication
① Install an authentication app such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator on your preferred device.
② Go to the two-factor authentication page via the "Two-factor authentication" item on your pixiv user settings, or by clicking the URL below.

③ You will be asked to confirm your pixiv account. When you have finished confirming, the two-factor authentication confirmation page will be displayed. On this page, click "Enable" to enable two-factor authentication.
④ A 2D code will be displayed. Read the 2D code with the authentication app you installed, then click "Next".
* If you have trouble reading the 2D code on your device, please click "My 2D code won't scan". A "Secret Key" will be displayed. Please enter the Secret Key directly into your authentication app.
⑤ The authentication app will display a six-digit verification code. Please input the code.
⑥ Two-factor authentication is now enabled. A list of backup codes that can be used in the event that your device is lost or broken will now be displayed. Please download or take a screenshot of these codes, and keep them somewhere safe.

From now on, when you log in to pixiv, you will need to enter the verification code displayed in your verification app in order to log in.
