Starting on August 24th, 2023, on the desktop and mobile versions of pixiv, you can filter your novel search results by approximate reading time and word count.

Until now, it was possible to filter your search results by character count. However, with this update, you can filter your results by story length using three different parameters: character count, word count, and approximate reading time.



After selecting a parameter, you can select a filter for that parameter, and run a search based on the filters below.

Character count
Search based on the character count displayed when looking at a list of works or on the work details page.

Word count
Search based on the word count listed on the work details page.
* This search only applies to works in languages in which story length is measured by word count.

Arabic, Croatian, Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog, Turkish, Vietnamese

Approximate reading time
Search based on the approximate reading time displayed when looking at a list of works or on the work details page.

pixiv Premium users can also voluntarily specify character count, word count, and approximate reading time in their search filters.
