Credit card payments are now available for those living outside Japan when registering for pixiv Premium. Please read it to check your status and learn about how to re-register.

Starting March 21st, 2024, we are introducing limitations on the payment methods available for new pixiv Premium registrations and pixiv Requests, subject to certain conditions.
These changes will not affect existing pixiv Premium members.
If your subscription is associated with a payment method that is no longer available upon registration, you do not need to take any action; you can use and renew your subscription as usual.
Please only review the changes related to pixiv Requests.
Regarding the payment methods for pixiv Premium
If you have set your viewing restrictions in your user settings to display explicit content (R-18) or Ero-guro content (R-18G), when you register for pixiv Premium, you will notice that certain payment methods will be unavailable.
Conversely, if you choose not to display R-18 and R-18G content, all payment options will remain available.
You can change your viewing restrictions settings at any time by logging in here:
* Your choice of payment method will not affect your ability to change your viewing restrictions settings.
For those living outside Japan
The following payment methods will become unavailable:
- PayPal
- Credit card
* We are actively working to reintroduce credit card payments in the future.
The following payment methods will remain available:
- Google Play and App Store payments within the pixiv app
* Carrier payments and ticket payments will remain available to those with their pixiv language set to Japanese.
For those living in Japan
The following payment methods will become unavailable:
- PayPal
The following payment methods will remain available:
- Credit card
- Google Play and App Store payments within the pixiv app
- Carrier payments
- Ticket payments
Regarding the payment methods for pixiv Requests
PayPal payments are temporarily unavailable, regardless of your viewing restrictions or where you live.
The following payment methods will become unavailable:
- PayPal
The following payment methods will remain available:
- Credit card
* Due to the differences in the payment systems, credit card payments will remain available in pixiv Requests.
* Due to system requirements, some users may have to re-register their credit card information.
These changes are a response to concerns regarding compliance with PayPal's Terms of Use.
To continue offering PayPal as a payment option for those who are already using it or intend to use it on pixiv, we have decided to suspend PayPal payments under the conditions listed above to avoid violating their Terms of Use.
