For the illustration, manga & novel posting event "RainRainRain2024", we invite you to post your works on the theme of rain.
All types of work and all genres are okay.
Freely create an illustration, manga, or novel (including poetry, tanka, essays, and more) using your preferred method and style.
In Japan June brings the rainy season. What images come to mind when you think of the enduring rain? Do you hold an umbrella alone, or share it with someone? It's the season to enjoy the comforting sound of raindrops, the sight of hydrangeas glistening with moisture, fruits shedding water, puddles left after the rain, and rainbows appearing during breaks in the clouds. All show the varied faces of the rainy season.
Rain is also a versatile theme in art, often evoking feelings of melancholy or symbolizing renewal and purification.
We eagerly await a wide range of works themed around rain!
30 winners will be chosen by raffle from among all participants to receive an Amazon gift code (1000 JPY value).

How to Participate
Post your works to pixiv with the contest tag "Rain2024".

Entry Format
Illustration/Manga category
- Original work and fan art are both okay.
- There are no restrictions on the size of the artwork for web submission.
- Only All-Ages works are accepted.
- If your work was wholly or in large part generated by AI, you must select "Yes" for the AI-generated work option. Each entrant may only submit one AI-generated work per person. Entrants who submit more than one AI-generated work are ineligible for the lottery.
Novels category
There are no format restrictions (short story, long story, series, etc.) on the novels you can submit. However, there should only be one work (one series) per submission.
You can submit unfinished works.
Only All-Ages works are accepted.
Both original works and fanfiction are okay. In addition to novels, you can also submit tanka, haiku, and other types of poetry.
If your work was wholly or in large part generated by AI, you must select "Yes" for the AI-generated work option. Each entrant may only submit one AI-generated work per person. Entrants who submit more than one AI-generated work are ineligible for the lottery.

Contest Terms
Works that fall under the conditions listed below may be disqualified.
- Posting after the contest period has ended.
- Not matching the theme of the contest.
- Not having the contest tag attached.
- Setting the privacy level of your entry to “My pixiv”, “Private”, or "URL restricted".
- Works containing content unsuitable for viewers under age 18
- Works that have been posted after the entry period has ended, or works that have been edited after the entry period has ended (including titles, captions, and outlines). This also includes minor edits to fix typos, etc.
- Works posted by companies or multiple creators.
- Works that violate pixiv's Terms of Use, Article 14 "Prohibited Conduct"
- Multiple postings of the same work.
- Works created via third-party commission, or via pixiv Requests (including request rewards).
- Any works based on existing work/goods, works/goods scheduled to be released, works/goods that have already been submitted for other contests, or works/goods that have already won other contests .
- Works that violate the Application Guidelines
- When the contestant does not respond within a set time frame after being contacted by pixiv.
- Works that pixiv Inc. finds disagreeable with adequate reason may also be disqualified.
