As of September 21th (Friday), pixiv has enabled logging in via Facebook for both the PC (http://www.pixiv.net/) and smartphone (http://touch.pixiv.net/) sites.

With this feature, users can now log in to pixiv with their Facebook ID and password, linking both accounts together. Users can also access a setup page to link a pixiv ID or detach it from a Facebook account.

This feature has been created to provide an easy method for first-time users to login without too much hassle. Please give it a try if you have a Facebook account!
