Starting February 20th, Nakayoshi and pixiv is collaborating to offer PEACH-PIT’s Kugiko-chan: A Ghost Illustration Contest!



【What is Kugiko-chan?】
Kugiko-chan is an adorable spin-off series of Kugiko-san (2011). Kugiko-san is a horror manga series about a male shoujo author searching for the truth about a supernatural urban legend of a ghost girl who drives nails into the eyes of her victims. This is your chance to feature your creation alongside Kugiko-chan in the new spin-off series!

【Entry Period】
Wednesday, February 20th 2013 to Friday, March 15th 2013 23:59 JST

【How to Enter】
(1) Draw an original illustration of an apparition that you’ve seen before or think exists.
(2) Submit your illustration to pixiv with this Japanese tag: クギ子ちゃんおばけイラストコンテスト
We will only accept entries that follow the above rules.

【Submission Format】
Web Submission: No size limitations
Winners will be required to submit a 1200 pixel by 900 pixel, 300DPI sized illustration.

Add a caption or description of your character’s name and unique feature (e.g. disappearing, reappearing, etc).
Submission Limit: You can submit more than one illustration as long as they are not duplicate entries.

【Selection Process】
PEACH-PIT and Nakayoshi’s Editorial Committee will review all entries to decide on a grand prize winner.
The winner will also be presented with Nakayoshi’s special original merchandise along with their creation featured in the manga, Kugiko-chan!
