pixiv is collaborating with Square Enix to feature an official illustration contest about the new Tomb Raider, a horror survival game. The contest will begin Monday, March 18th and will feature Lara Croft, Tomb Raider’s protagonist, along with the game’s deserted wasteland island theme. pixiv and Square Enix will be looking for illustrations of a strong, female survivor braving the elements of Mother Nature.



We’ll be uploading illustrations from Square Enix staff and fan artists from our official Tomb Raider pixiv account, so please make sure you check it out! There will also be a secret guest’s illustration at some point, so look forward to it!

Submissions will also be featured on the Tomb Raider official site as well as Square Enix’s related site, the Tomb Raider official Facebook and Twitter accounts.
We’re looking forward to your renditions of this iconic survival heroine!

【How to Enter】
Please draw any illustration with the theme of Square Enix’s horror survival game, Tomb Raider. Depending on which category you wish to enter, please use the corresponding illustration tags. Entries without tags will not be entered into the contest.

○ Lara Croft Category
Entries in this category should feature Tomb Raider’s protagonist, Lara Croft, in their own style. There are no restrictions besides including Lara Croft, however, we recommend featuring a situational or adventurous theme.
Illustration Tag: トゥームレイダーララ・クロフト

○ Survival Heroine Category
Entries in this category should feature any kind of “survival heroine” theme which could include the heroine adventuring through wastelands and braving the elements of Mother Nature.

Web Submission Size: There are no size restrictions for submission. However, winning entries need to submit high-resolution versions so please keep that in mind.
Number of Submissions: You may submit more than 1 entry, as long as they are not duplicate entries.
