Kodansha and pixiv hosted the “BOX-AiR and pixiv’s Short Story, Huge Prize” contest from Friday, November 30th 2012 to Thursday, January 31st 2013. The Huge Prize winner has finally been decided!

This project was a collaborative effort between Kodansha BOX’s digital serialization magazine, “BOX-AiR,” and pixiv to offer a literature based contest with the theme of “dialog” or “conversation.” Entries had to be short stories that had at least 1,000 and at most 12,000 characters long.

Writing a story based on the rules above must have been very difficult, especially with the theme and character limit.
We were pleasantly surprised that over 1000 entries were submitted by the contest deadline!
