From Thursday, June 13th, 2013 to Wednesday, July 31st, 2013, the Locadol Promotion contest was held. The winners have finally been decided.

We looked for entries that feature things about entrants’ local areas. Ethnic clothing, accessories, symbols, songs, dances, and unique practices that could be represented through an illustration of a “local idol” were sought. We received an amazing 1600 entries!

After a strict and rigorous judging process, we chose 6 first-choice winners and 47 second-choice winners, for a total of 53 winners.

There were so many wonderful illustrations of idols–here are the winners!

On every second and fourth Thursday at 9pm to 10pm JST, 2.5 Dimension TV Otaku Culture variety show program is studio broadcasted live for free to viewers. The show includes otaku culture related topics including the Locadol Promotion, Magica Wars, and Princess Royal original projects.

Magica Wars will be released this summer as an iPhone app. It’s a shooting game that will feature a lot of characters with individuality. Please check it out!
