Tags in various languages are added to pixiv submissions every day. We released a function that lets users suggest possible English translations for such tags!

The translations you suggest will be used for tags displayed on the search page and work page.
Please contribute with your English translation suggestions to make pixiv accessible to even more users from different regions!


How to suggest an English translation:
You can suggest a translation from the search page of pixiv for PC. To translate the tags attached to a post, please input an English translation, agree to the translation suggestions terms of service and send your suggestion!
In order the submissions of too many different tags, please refer to the translation formatting guidelines before sending your suggestion. The formatting guidelines list the proper order of first and last names, rules about uppercase and lowercase characters and so on.




* Since English translation suggestions will be checked by pixiv Secretariat, it might take some time before they're displayed on the search page or on the work page, or they might not be displayed at all due to duplication or incorrect formatting.

Display of translated tags:
After your translation is reviewed, the English tag will be displayed on the search page and on the work page.

About the availability of English tags:
English tags will be displayed on the search page and on the work page starting from just a few users after the release of the new function. The function will be gradually expanded and will eventually be accessible to all users.



Changes to the Terms of Service with the release of the translation suggestion function:
In accordance with the release of the translation suggestion function, we changed part of our Terms of Service and created a new usage agreement about translation suggestions.

・The item "Translations" was added to Article 2, "Information on submitted works".

You have to agree to the Terms of Service before submitting your translation.
