this is pixiv Secretariat.
Tags in various languages are added to pixiv submissions every day. We released a function that lets users suggest possible translations for such tags in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Korean!!
The translations you suggest will be used for tags displayed on the search page and work page.
Please contribute with your translation suggestions to make pixiv accessible to even more users from different regions!
How to suggest a translation:
You can suggest a translation from the search page of pixiv for PC. To translate the tags attached to a post, please input a translation, agree to the translation suggestions terms of service and send your suggestion!
In order the submissions of too many different tags, please refer to the translation formatting guidelines before sending your suggestion. The formatting guidelines list the proper order of first and last names, rules about uppercase and lowercase characters and so on.
* Since translation suggestions will be checked by pixiv Secretariat, it might take some time before they're displayed on the search page or on the work page, or they might not be displayed at all due to duplication or incorrect formatting.
Display of translated tags:
After your translation is reviewed, the tag will be displayed on the search page and on the work page.
* Translations display method could change in the future.
■ Translation display:
Tags will be displayed to users who are using pixiv in languages other than Japanese.
Translated tags displayed on the search page or work page will appear in the language chosen by the user, or in other languages following an order of priority.
For example, tags will be displayed in the following order of priority:
・For those using pixiv in English
English
Romaji (alphabetic characters transliteration)
・For those using pixiv in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese or Korean
The language you've set on pixiv
English
* When the tag is not available in your language, an English translation will be displayed if available.

About the time until display:
Since tags will be displayed only after being thoroughly checked by pixiv Secretariat, tags reflection on our website might take awhile.
We will check the translations you suggested in order.
Changes to the Terms of Service with the release of the translation suggestion function:
In accordance with the release of the translation suggestion function, we changed part of our Terms of Service and created a new usage agreement about translation suggestions.

・The item "Translations" was added to Article 2, "Information on submitted works".

Terms of service regarding translation suggestions can be consulted here.
You have to agree to the Terms of Service before submitting your translation.
