Greetings from pixiv.

On June 3, 2020 (JST), the Home page on the desktop version of pixiv has been renewed.
The new Home page design is available to all desktop users.

With this change, users will be able to encounter new personalized content and enjoy a wider range of content available BOOTH and other pixiv-related services.

About the changes:

・New content was added, such as a Recommended field
・A dark theme is available for trial use
・The tabs on the Home page changed from "Illustration & Manga/Novels" to "Illustration/Manga/Novels".
・The sorting feature was removed from the Home page.
・The background setting feature was removed from the Home page.
・After the design change, some contents were repositioned or removed.

About the new Home page design:

Details of the changes:
① New content was added, such as a Recommended field

The following three Recommended frames have been added to the new Home page.
(1) Recommended
(2) Recommended users
(3) Recommended #tags

The three fields above display personalized content for each user.
Through the new Recommended fields, all users will be able to encounter more new works than ever before.

② The tabs on the Home page changed from "Illustration & Manga/Novels" to "Illustration/Manga/Novels".

The old Home page featured illustrations and manga on the same tab, but the new Home page now has three separate tabs: Illustrations, Manga and Novels.
In the future, we plan to make pixiv even more enjoyable for users by personalizing manga works and more.

③ A dark theme is available for trial use
Concurrently with the Home page renewal, we have started providing a dark theme as a trial.
Please see the image below on how to use it.



* The dark theme is currently being tested and is only available for the following pages.

・Work details page
・Profile page
・Novel series page
・Newest by all page

Following this release, we are planning to implement the following.

・New Recommended content
・Expanding the dark theme to all pages
