Starting from January 7 (Thu), 2021, pixiv will hold the SUKI1 January Contest, "Zodiac Battle Royale 2021" .

In this contest, we ask you to submit entries on the theme of the Chinese zodiac.
We will be accepting submissions in three categories: Ox, Challenger, and Novel.
Create a work in accordance with the theme of each category and post it on pixiv.

■ About pixiv SUKI1
pixiv SUKI1 is a submission project held monthly (ツキ1, tsuki ichi) on pixiv, where creators can convey their likes (スキ, suki) on a variety of themes.


Contest Period
From January 7 (Thu), 2021 to February 28 (Sun), 2021 23:59 JST

How to Participate
Create a work in accordance with the theme of each category and post it on pixiv with the contest tag.

1.Ox category
Draw anthropomorphic characters (gijinka), animals, and other works with the theme of "Ox".

2.Challenger category
Draw anthropomorphic characters (gijinka), animals, and other works based on animals you would like to add to the twelve signs of the Chinese zodiac.

3.Novel category
Feel free to create a novel with the theme of "Zodiac".

* Get featured on pixiv SUKI1 official Twitter account.
Contest entries may be picked up by pixiv SUKI1 and introduced on their official Twitter account!
　
Entry Format
＜Illustration and Manga category＞
You can post either an illustration, manga, or Ugoira.
There are no restrictions on the size of the artwork for web submission.
* There are no restrictions on the number of artworks an applicant can submit. (However, please do not submit multiple postings of the same artwork)

＜Novel category＞
There are no format restrictions (short story, long story, series, etc.) on the novels you can submit.
There is no upper limit to the length of the submissions; however, they must be at least 400 characters.
* There are no restrictions on the number of works an applicant can submit. However, there should only be one work (one series) per submission.
　

Prizes
3 winners per category
Choose one of the following:
・Pick a prize from a high-grade beef gift catalog
・10,000 JPY Amazon gift card (approx. 100 USD)

Pixiv SUKI1 participation prize
20 winners will be selected by lottery from participants in all categories
・Sketchbook (pixiv original design)
