Starting on Thursday, November 25th, 2021, the mobile version of pixiv comes with a renovated screen for writing your novels.

With this update, you'll be able to write your novels full screen, and the tools were redesigned too, to always be in your reach.

This update will roll out gradually, to eventually reach all users.
Everyone running one of the supported OS and browsers will be able to enjoy it in the next few days.

* You can use this feature on Android Chrome and Safari for iOS 13 and later.
If your device has a version prior to iOS 13 installed, you won't be able to experience part of the update.
To fully enjoy the update, please consider updating your OS.


What changes when writing novels
① After you click on the text input box, you'll be shifted to a full-screen text editor.
② pixiv Novels tools are pinned to the top of the screen, and are easier to reach.
③ Inserting tags is even easier with suggestions.

With this update, writers on some devices may find that the browser response time when writing longer texts has improved.
Try the new text editor, and you might enjoy writing on the smaller screen like you never did before.

* Aside from text input, there were no other changes such as tags and text formatting. You can continue using the text editor as you did before.




About tag tools

Tag tools are now pinned at the top of the screen.
Even when you're writing a longer novel, you won't need to scroll back up to the top to find the tools at any time.




Click on any of the icons for the suggestion menu to display.
Input what you need here, and you're done!
