Upcoming updates to the Service Master Terms of Use and Guidelines
As part of this initiative, search filter options on the desktop and mobile versions of pixiv will be updated, starting on May 25th, 2023. The update will add an item in the "Search options" menu that will make it possible to choose whether or not to display AI-generated work in search results.
We are also working on updating the pixiv app. Please stay tuned for further announcements.
■ How to change your settings
Go to "Search options" and select the "AI-generated work" item to change your settings.
You can choose "Display" or "Hide".
* These search filter options will only be displayed if you have set your user settings to display AI-generated work. If you have set your user settings not to display AI-generated work, these search options will not be displayed.
■ If you don't want to view AI-generated work, you can change your user settings accordingly.
If you don't want to view any AI-generated work on pixiv, you can go to the "AI-generated work" item in your user settings, and select "Hide". To learn more about this feature, please check the article below.
What are display settings for AI-generated work?
■ We've strengthened our systems for monitoring, issuing warnings, and addressing issues related to automated access to user posts, etc.
In order to address the issues posed by generative AI, we've strengthened our systems for monitoring, issuing warnings, and dealing with problems related to automated access to user posts.
The new updates make it easier for us to detect access attempts by bots or other automated accounts. If we detect a bot or automated account, we will suspend that account accordingly.
