As of July 5th, 2023, the Android version of the pixiv app is longer displaying in the Google Play store, and users are no longer able to install or update the app.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

If you have already installed the pixiv app, you can continue to use it as usual.
However, because you can no longer reinstall the app from the Google Play store, for the time being, please do not delete the app if you already have it installed.

We are still in the process of investigating and dealing with this situation.
As of now, all we know is that the issue is related to payment methods for pixiv Premium.


■ If you're subscribed to pixiv Premium via Google Play Subscription

[Current situation]
If your payment method for pixiv Premium is set as "Google Play Store Subscription", the payment for your pixiv Premium membership is processed through Google's system.
Unfortunately, due to the current issue, payments for pixiv Premium renewals are automatically being canceled by Google. There is a possibility that your subscription to pixiv Premium may have been canceled as a result.

However, since Google has not yet provided us with detailed information on why the payments are being canceled, you can continue using pixiv Premium if you were a Premium member. Rest assured that no additional fees will be incurred.
Please continue using pixiv Premium as usual until we receive further information and are able to check the status of each payment.

* pixiv Premium is available on the Android app, desktop, mobile, and iOS app.

This issue may affect you if you fall under the following criteria:

・Your next renewal date has already passed

After this situation has been resolved, we expect that the pixiv Android app will become available in the Google Play store again and Google will send us the latest payment information.
After we have received and confirmed that information, users who had their pixiv Premium memberships automatically canceled due to their payment being canceled by Google will no longer be able to use pixiv Premium.
If you wish to continue using pixiv Premium, you will need to register for pixiv Premium through the pixiv Android app again. You can also register using a credit card or other payment method via the desktop or mobile versions of pixiv.
