In the July 19th, 2023 announcement, we discussed how your pixiv Premium subscription may have been canceled without you knowing if your renewal date was July 15th, 2023, or an earlier date.
We made it possible for everyone to check whether their subscription was canceled without them knowing.
Furthermore, we extended the subscriptions for those who were affected, so that they can continue using pixiv Premium.
If your renewal date was July 15th, 2023, or earlier, please read this announcement carefully.

■ How to check if your subscription was canceled
You can check your pixiv Premium current status from the pixiv Android app menu.
① Tap on the pixiv Premium icon
② pixiv Premium registration page
If a message displays saying "Your subscription may have been canceled without you knowing", your subscription was canceled.
* If your renewal date was July 15th, 2023, or earlier, but the message is not displayed, jump to the "■ If your renewal date was July 15th..." section at the end of this announcement.
■ Even if your subscription was canceled, you can continue using pixiv Premium up to August 29th, 2023.
We decided to extend the subscriptions of people affected by this issue until August 28th, 2023 by putting a hold on the processing of their unsubscriptions.
This applies even if Google contacted you about your subscription being canceled.
Please note that no additional fees will be incurred.
If you wish to continue using pixiv Premium from Tuesday, August 29th, 2023, follow the steps below to register again.
You will be billed starting on the day you register.
■ How to re-register
1. Tap on the registration button on the pixiv Premium registration page.
2. Select a plan.
3. Complete registration through Google Play Subscription.
4. After registration, a message will display saying "Your plan was changed successfully. It may take some time for the changes to be reflected" and you will be automatically redirected to the home screen.
5. Go to the pixiv Premium registration page once again and tap on the button to restore purchase information to complete re-registration.
* Re-registration won't be completed until you tap on the button to restore purchase information. If you can't complete the re-registration, you will have your money returned at a later date.
* If the message saying "Your subscription may have been canceled without you knowing" keeps displaying, re-registration is not complete yet.
* If you wish to switch to a different payment method, or are experiencing other issues, please contact us here.
If you do not register again, you won't be able to use pixiv Premium from August 29th, 2023.
■ If your renewal date was July 15th, 2023, or earlier, but the message saying "Your subscription may have been canceled without you knowing" is not displayed
Either your subscription was canceled, or Google's processing is taking some time.
Either way, you can continue using pixiv Premium. Rest assured that no additional fees will be incurred even if your renewal date is past due.
Notice that, if the cause for the message not displaying was Google's processing taking time, the correct renewal date will display once the payment processing is completed. You will be billed for renewal, but rest assured that you will not be billed twice for the same period.
We are still investigating and addressing every single case.
In the meantime, you can continue using pixiv Premium as always.
