This feature will allow you to adjust your work titles to make them easier to read. "Feature" allows you to select specific illustrations, manga, novels, BOOTH items, etc. to highlight on your profile page, to make it more appealing to your viewers. On pixiv Requests, creators can now invite fans to resend a request under modified conditions

Greetings from pixiv Requests. From March 30, 2023, the Requests feature on the desktop and mobile versions of pixiv will allow creators to invite fans to resend a request under modified conditions. Previously, the resend feature only allowed creators to invite fans to resend requests with the exact same content. Now creators can invite fans to resend requests while asking them to change some of the settings. ■ Options when inviting a fan to resend a request You can request that the fan change the work type and/or the age restrictions. Work types include illustrations, manga, Ugoira, and novels. If the creator feels that the type of work requested by the fan doesn't fit with the content of the request, they can ask the fan to change the work type. For age restrictions, requesters can select either "All-Ages" or "R-18/R-18G". If the creator feels that the age restrictions requested by the fan don't fit with the content of the request, they can ask the fan to change the age restrictions. For details on age restrictions, please refer to the pixiv Guidelines. *In some cases, it may not be possible to change the parameters listed above due to the creator's original request terms or the requester's settings. ■ Requests eligible for this feature You can invite a fan to resend a request if it was a request you previously declined or for which the response deadline has expired. *You can use this feature for requests that were declined or expired prior to March 30, 2023. *You cannot invite fans to resend requests that you accepted but didn't complete by the deadline. To edit the covers of previously posted novels, until now, it was necessary to re-select your preferred cover template, but this update makes it possible to change the cover settings without re-selecting the cover template. From the edit page for your novel, you can click the "Edit cover" button under the "Cover preview" section to edit the title, font, color, and more. As stated in the announcement released on December 8th, all creators were asked to update their settings in advance of the rollout of this feature. Pre-rollout request to update your Request terms stating whether you will post AI-generated work ■ Request terms that haven't yet been set to specify the presence/absence of AI-generated work will be set automatically As stated in the December 8th announcement, all Request terms that haven't been updated to specify AI-generated work are updated automatically as of Thursday, December 22nd, 2:00 pm JST. The automatic settings are determined based on the creator's pixiv data, and on how many AI-generated works they have posted via the Requests feature. Creators whose settings were automatically changed have been contacted by the pixiv Requests official account via pixiv Messages. This setting affects the AI-generated work settings on all works posted via the Requests feature from December 22nd onward. This setting does not affect any requests that were sent out prior to December 22nd. If the automatic setting on your Request terms is in error, we apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask that you change your settings accordingly. The settings procedure is detailed below. ■ For users who specify in their terms that they post AI-generated work in response to requests Please select "Post only AI-generated work". Requests received under these terms will automatically be labeled as AI-generated when you post the finished work. In conjunction with the update to our Service Master Terms of Use, effective as of Thursday, December 15th, 2022, we are updating the Requests feature to better clarify transactions and items prohibited under the Terms of Use. The main content of the update is as follows. ・An explanation of prohibited transactions and items will be added to the "Disclaimer about pixiv Requests" which fans must agree to when submitting a request ・Fans will be notified if there is a possibility that the content of the request they submitted falls under the prohibited transactions category ・An explanation of prohibited transactions and items will be added to the "Points of note" list that appears when creators accept requests or post requested work ■ About the addition to the "Disclaimer about pixiv Requests" The following will be added to the "Disclaimer about pixiv Requests" which fans must agree to when submitting a request. Requests that violate laws, ordinances, public order and decency, and other standards set forth by the Company are prohibited. In particular, prohibited requests include items that contain live-action elements or highly realistic elements that depict sexual exploitation or sexual abuse of a minor, incest, bestiality, rape (or any other non-consensual sexual behavior), or non-consensual mutilation of a person or body part. Accepting a request following the release of this feature on Thursday, December 15th means that you have automatically agreed to these requirements. ■ About the addition of a feature to notify fans if the content of their request may be prohibited If a fan inputs request content that may fall under the prohibited transactions category, the following notification will be displayed. The request content you input may be in violation of content acceptable for specified transactions. Please carefully read the Terms of Use on prohibited transactions. If a request is sent which contains prohibited content, even if the creator posts the requested work, it will either be set to Private, or the request will be canceled. Transactions for works that contain certain specified content are prohibited. The content of the settings you choose will be displayed on each page from Thursday, December 22nd. *The timing of the release on Thursday the 22nd will be announced on Twitter. pixiv official Twitter account ■ If you don't set your terms by Thursday, December 22nd, they will be set automatically If you don't change this setting in your request terms by Thursday the 22nd, your terms will be set automatically based on your creator page and whether you've posted AI-generated work using the Requests feature. If the automatic setting does not reflect the actual content of your terms, please change it manually. As previously stated, on October 31st, 2022, we have released a number of new features addressing work in which all or most of the production process is carried out by AI (hereinafter referred to as "AI-generated work"). You can find more details on each feature below. You can now set your own work as AI-generated This option allows you to specify whether or not your work was generated by AI. We define "AI-generated" work as work in which all or most of the production process is carried out by AI. Please check "Yes" at the bottom of the posting or editing pages of your work if it matches our criteria for AI-generated work. ■ How to set your work as AI-generated You can do so from pixiv's posting or editing pages. These settings are available for illustrations, Ugoira, manga, novels, and novel series. Below is an example of an illustration posting page. When a work is set to AI-generated, it will display a label with the same notation. If you have already tagged your past illustrations, manga, and Ugoira with #AI-generated and other similar tags, these posts will be automatically marked as AI-generated when the feature is released. If your work was incorrectly set as AI-generated, please change the settings yourself. *The above doesn't apply when #AI-generated and other similar tags were added by third parties. Novels and novel series aren't automatically marked as AI-generated, so please review our criteria for "AI-generated work" and select the appropriate option yourself. Filter out AI-generated work in different pages This feature allows you to choose whether or not to display AI-generated work on pixiv's main pages, such as search results. ■ How to change display settings You can do so from your user settings, under "AI-generated work". From Monday, October 24th, 2022, we'll be releasing a feature in the message settings for both the desktop and mobile versions of pixiv, where you'll be able to select which accounts can start new message threads with you. The feature will be available to all users from day one. ■ About message settings Many members of our community have told us how much receiving messages of thanks or support encourages them in their creative work, and how messaging helps them deepen exchanges with other users. However, some people have said that they would like more flexible options for whether or not to receive messages, or that they would prefer to only receive messages from verified accounts, regarding creative activities. Up until now, by default, a given user receives messages from all other users, but with this update, you'll be able to select whether you'd like to receive messages from "All accounts" or "Only pixiv verified accounts". ■ What are pixiv verified accounts? pixiv verified accounts are the accounts of companies or organizations whose identity was confirmed by pixiv, and also accounts managed by pixiv. Sometimes you might receive messages from verified Accounts regarding rankings, offers, etc. About pixiv verified accounts See below for details on what happens when you change your message settings to "Only pixiv verified accounts". *If you want to join pixiv COMIC Indies and get scouted, please choose the "All accounts" setting. Indie editor accounts are not pixiv verified accounts. About pixiv COMIC Indies *Messages from all users, regardless of My pixiv request settings, will be received through the message feature. However, you will only receive notifications of the messages, not the actual messages. Greetings from pixiv. Thank you for using our service. Through mid-October 2022, we're implementing some changes to the manga posting page on the desktop version of pixiv. With this update, you'll be able to select a suitable reading format for your ToonScroll manga. ToonScroll manga are vertical scrolling manga optimized for reading on smartphone screens. Up until now, when reading vertical manga on the desktop and mobile versions of pixiv, the gaps between pages would make it difficult to scroll down the work smoothly. Now, when posting a manga on the desktop and mobile versions of pixiv, you'll be able to view vertical works comfortably by using the Reading format settings and the options added in this update. ■ Changes to the manga posting page (desktop version only) Reading format You'll be able to set the reading format to vertical or horizontal. 　Vertical: Change the page by scrolling vertically. 　Horizontal: Change the page by scrolling horizontally. Reading format options When selecting Reading format: Vertical You can set the ToonScroll format for your manga. When this setting is selected, white margins between pages are hidden and the page width is fixed, allowing readers to read vertical manga more comfortably. When selecting Reading format: Horizontal You can choose either Left-to-right or Right-to-left according to the pagination format. For existing work, you can also access the Reading format settings and its options by clicking the Edit button. * Desktop version only *Desktop and mobile versions ■ The Book-style format will be discontinued With this update, the Book-style format posting settings for both manga and illustrations, which allowed you to read works horizontally, will be discontinued. The same can be achieved for manga works by setting the Reading format to Horizontal. * Existing works that have been posted in Book format will automatically be changed to Reading format: Horizontal. ■ Changes to the manga viewer (Desktop and mobile versions) Works will be displayed according to the Reading format and the options set by the poster. As before, works will be displayed vertically. Works in ToonScroll format will no longer have white margins between pages. Greetings from pixiv. As of September 15th, 2022, you can select a cover image for request terms on the desktop and mobile versions of pixiv. When a creator is looking for requests, they can determine what kind of conditions or what kind of requests they want to be sent within their terms. Until now you could only use text, but you can now also have a cover image with your sets of terms. We hope that both creators and fans can enjoy the additional avenues of communication this brings by giving fans something to enjoy when they go to look at a set of terms and help them imagine what to request. In addition, new novel template designs using creators' illustrations have been added. These designs can only be used by those that have registered to pixiv Premium. Re-uploading cover images Only those with Premium could change the cover image to an already-posted novel but with this update, everyone will be able to do so. New novel cover templates We added 60 new designs that use creators' illustrations as novels cover templates, all allowing the novel's title to be shown. Check out the newly added designs by selecting Premium from the list of cover templates from the novels posting page. The new designs can be used until July 28th, 2023. We appreciate your patience. About the Watchlist feature: The Watchlist feature allows you to easily keep up to date with your favorite manga and novel series. Many people have been making good use of it since its release in the mobile and desktop versions of pixiv, and soon the feature will also be available in the app. How to use the Watchlist: Add a series to your Watchlist by clicking Add to Watchlist. You can find the Add to Watchlist button on a manga's series details and at the bottom of the work details page, and on a novel's series details and at the bottom of the novel while reading it. The Dashboard's Works tab got a new look

Greetings from pixiv. The Dashboard's Works tab on the mobile and desktop versions of pixiv has been updated. The update will roll out gradually starting from July 19th, so it may take some time for everyone to see the changes go into effect. We appreciate your patience. ■ You will be able to select your works from grid view In the new Works tab, you will be able to select from grid view in addition to the previously available list view. Please select display settings with the icon in the upper right of the Works tab.

When grid view is selected, all your works will be displayed as thumbnails according to their original proportions. You can also customize the display of views and likes, as well as the display order. Please select the display settings that suit your needs. ■ You can move directly to the Works tab from the Home Page. The Works tab had to be accessed from the Dashboard until this update. In this update, we've added "My Works" to the Home Page menu. You can directly move to the Works tab when you click that button and quickly check on the reactions to your work. Greetings from pixiv. Starting from the end of June 2022, you'll be able to view your watchlist from the Followed page on the mobile version of pixiv. This update will roll out gradually, to eventually reach all users. Up until now, you could only view your manga and novels watchlist from the home page. With this change, you'll be able to easily check your watchlist while going through the Followed and Newest by My pixiv pages. In the desktop version of pixiv, you can already view your watchlist from the Followed page. We are looking forward to your continued support.

You can now filter creators on your Following page to display only those who are currently accepting requests

Please note that the update will roll out gradually, so it may take a bit of time for all users to see the changes go into effect. We thank you for your understanding. With this update, an "Accepting requests" toggle switch will be added to your Following page. When you toggle this switch on, only creators who are currently accepting requests will be displayed on the page. Finding creators to send your requests to has never been faster and easier.
