This event is open to all registered pixiv users who have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
* Entries from companies and multiple creators will not be accepted.
* Underage entrants should obtain a guardian's consent before entering.

○ How to Participate
Please post the work you would like to enter to pixiv with the event tag.
If you want to enter an already posted work, please add the event tag from the work's details page.

○ Event Terms
Your submission will serve as an acceptance of the terms outlined throughout this entire document.
Please be sure you have read them before submitting your work.

(1) If your entry, including your nickname, falls into the statements below, you will be disqualified.
・Works that violate the ownership rights of pixiv Inc., pixiv users, and other third parties; as well as intellectual property rights, including copyright, privilege, trust, and other privacy rights.
・Works that contain obscenity, torture, discrimination, explicit sexual themes, and other elements that are potentially offensive.
・Works that violate public order and morals.
・pixiv Inc. will decide if a work is unsuitable for display.
・Works that pixiv Inc. finds disagreeable for any reason will be disqualified.
(2) Entrants own all rights to their artwork/creations.
(3) Entrants may have their entries, comments, and pixiv nicknames posted, in whole or in part, to pixiv’s official Twitter, Facebook, and other social media accounts, displayed at exhibitions, or reprinted in magazines, books, or other media. pixiv may adapt or minorly edit the work.
(4) Entrants who remove their entries during the event will forfeit the event and no donations will be made for their entries.
(5) pixiv Inc. will not be responsible for any charges entrants may incur during the submission of their entry.
(6) pixiv Inc. will protect individuals’ information according to their privacy policy.

○ About donations
(1) pivix will donate 500 JPY for each novel tagged "ブックサンタ2023" that was posted between midnight on January 1st, 2023, and 11:59 pm on Monday, December 25th, 2023. Donations will be made to the NPO Charity Santa.
In addition, the illustrator Seiji Yoshida will be selling original artwork as art prints, canvas art, and other merch for this event, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to this charity.
(2) Each standalone work posted will count as one work. Each series work post will also count as one work.
(3) The total amount donated will be published after the event concludes.

○ Disclaimers
(1) Entrants assume responsibility for their own submissions.
(2) pixiv Inc. will not be responsible for any disputes that may happen between the entrants and other users, regardless of the reason.
(3) pixiv Inc. reserves the right to suspend or terminate the event in the event pixiv Inc. deems it necessary for any reason, including system maintenance.
(4) pixiv Inc. will not be liable for any damages incurred by the entrants, including but not limited to contest interruption, suspension, or cancellation.
(5) pixiv Inc. will not be responsible for any direct damages due to willful misconduct or gross negligence caused during the event period, regardless of immunity, as determined by the Application Guidelines and disclaimers.

○ Event Related Support Issues

(2) Please include your email address, nickname, inquiry, and the subject “About Book Santa 2023" before submitting your support request.
(3) Replies will not be given to any phone calls regarding support issues.

○ Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The event and its terms shall be governed by Japanese law. Furthermore, the Tokyo District Court shall be the mutually-agreed court for any proceedings, with jurisdiction for the preliminary trial in the case of any disputes over contest terms or matters between the Company and the entrants.
