From August 9, the 2.5 Dimension TV "GIBOT" illustration contest is accepting entries.
"2.5 Dimension TV" is a variety show hosted by 2.5 Dimension TV Co., Ltd. covering "2.5-dimensional" related topics. The show began running July 12, 21:00 (Japan Standard Time), and is slated to run on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month. The contest, sponsored jointly by 2.5 Dimension TV and pixiv, will be looking for illustrations based on a theme of your "local robot and pilot" designs, i.e. somehow representing the region, prefecture, or area where you live. Entries with only a pilot or robot are also welcomed. For more details, please refer to the special webpage for the Terms and Conditions.

■ What is 2.5 Dimension TV?

2.5 Dimension TV is a variety program that covers otaku culture news (games, anime, voice actors, VOCALOID, cosplay, etc.), including "2.5 dimension related topics". 2.5 Dimension TV aired its first episode on June 28, but as of July 12, the program will change its broadcasting date and time to 21:00 every 2nd and 4th Thursday. The program will feature live broadcasts with commentaries and coverage of popular and interesting subjects, so please look forward to it!
2.5 Dimension has also planned to further its collaboration with pixiv with many upcoming projects!

【Participation Method】
We will be looking for original robot and guardian pilot designs based on the local cultures of the represented prefectures and countries. Entries with only robot or pilot characters are also acceptable. Your pilot character could be male, female, or even non-human.
※ All designs tagged with their respective prefecture tags including the ones shown in the samples will be counted as entries.
You must tag your entry with the following: GIBOTイラコン, Prefecture name
Example: GIBOTイラコン 群馬県
※For participants representing Japan, please note that all prefectures must have "府" (for Kyoto and Osaka only) and "県" (other Japanese prefectures) added at the end of each prefecture before submission.
※For global participants, please tag your artwork according to the country you are representing. (e.g: GIBOTイラコン アメリカ for contestants representing the USA)
【Submission Format】
・Submission limit: You may enter as many times as you wish, but each entry must be unique.
・Web submission size: There is no size limit for web submission.
