As of December 26th, 2023, on pixiv's services, certain posts and works with content that may be deemed unsuitable by certain countries and regions will be subject to display restrictions in those locations.
These measures are being taken to prevent violations of the laws in the various countries and regions where community members use pixiv.
If you are resident in any of these countries/regions, we thank you for your understanding.
■ Location settings have now been added to User settings
In line with this update, your location has now been added to User settings.
Your location will be set automatically based on the region from which you access pixiv.
If the automatic settings are wrong, we apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask that you change them manually.
You can check and update your location settings as follows.
■ On desktop
2.Change your country/region from the pulldown menu.
■ On mobile
2.Change your country/region from the "Language and location" pulldown menu.
■ On the app
You cannot change your country/region via the app. Please change your settings from the desktop or mobile browser version of pixiv.
We have also added an item to the Guidelines regarding viewing restrictions by region.
In order to continue to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all members of our worldwide pixiv community, we will continue to make updates as necessary. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
