Thank you for submitting your feedback to the announcement "Reason for the revision of the pixiv Guidelines on real-life photographs or photo-realistic images" made on April 15th, 2024.
As explained in the announcement, revisions were made to the guidelines on April 10th, 2024 due to the following reasons:
・To prohibit posts that are real-life photographs or photo-realistic images that can cause confusion in society, or real-life photographs or photo-realistic images that can be interpreted as sexual or cruel content.
・To address a broader category and to prevent any new posts of this kind.
However, the guidelines were not clear enough, and we had to release an explanation. Therefore, we have once again revised the guidelines as follows to make our intentions clear.
The revised guidelines are more specific than the ones revised on April 10th, 2024.
Please note that we may have to make further revisions in the future to address a broader category.

As mentioned earlier, these revisions have been made to keep the guidelines consistent with the action taken.
No changes have been made to how the prohibited posts are handled in this revision.
