Gintama THE FINAL adapts the finale of the original manga and is the best and biggest scale movie of the entire series!
After the series ended, the original author, Hideaki Sorachi, wanted to take a well-deserved nap... but we woke him up and got his full spontaneous cooperation. The result is an incredible final chapter, which pushes the limits of laughter and tears, features all the popular characters, exciting action, and wholesome friendships!

Story
"What I wanted to protect is right here, in my soul."
The countdown to the destruction of the Earth has begun! We all fight together to take Edo back!

After an attack from outer space, the Yorozuya is on the run to save the Earth from the worst of the disasters.
Former allies Gintoki, Takasugi, and Katsura, all move forward with their own thoughts in their hearts.
However, they are confronted by Utsuro, a different persona of Yoshida Shouyou, the master who taught and guided Gintoki and his companions and with whom they have a sad bond.
The last and greatest enemy, Utsuro, a monster that was born with the ability to absorb and contain a high amount of Altana, the planet's life force itself, granting him near ageless immortality and high regenerative capabilities, wants to destroy the Earth, allowing him to finally die but taking the universe down with him.
Shinpachi, Kagura, the Shinsengumi, the members of Kabukicho, and even former enemies join the fight to stop Utsuro's ambition and to support Gintoki and the others who continue to fight with their master Shouyou in their hearts! The power of Utsuro is growing and Takasugi is ready to face it with his life on the line.
What does the tattered Gintoki see at the end of his path...? Will he really be able to end it all?
